I am so proud to be able to serve Custer Lutheran Fellowship!  Being called to serve back in my hometown has been such a blessing.  My husband, Darryn, and I are both Custer High School graduates, and I am also a former teacher for the Custer Middle School.  Since leaving Custer, our family has lived in many beautiful places, but after 25 years away, it’s good go be “home.”  In 2007 I graduated from Wartburg Theological Seminary, and that summer was ordained right here at CLF surrounded by friends and family.  Prior to coming back to Custer, I served three congregations in Eastern Iowa. We raised our family, Leah, Grace and Eli, in Bellevue, Iowa right on the Mississippi River.  Both daughters and their families live in Longmont, Colorado.  We love visiting them and our two beautiful grandchildren as often as possible.  Our son and his wife currently live in Kodiak, Alaska where my son serves in the Coast Guard.  They will be relocating to the West Coast to a new Coast Guard Air Station the summer of 2025.  I love being in the Black Hills, a place that is truly sacred.  When I’m not working, I love to read, hike, walk, paint, cook and garden.  More than anything, I love creating deep relationships with others.
